Spanish Campaign Medal

Awarded to officers and enlisted personnel who served ashore on the island of Cuba (11 May - 17 July), in the island of Puerto Rico (24 July - 13 August), in the Philippine Islands (30 June - 16 August); or en route thereto on the high seas, during 1898.

Philippine Congressional Medal

Awarded for qualifying service between April 21, 1898 and July 4, 1902, and was created to recognized those volunteers who enlisted to serve in the Spanish American War and remained on active duty to serve ashore during the Philippine Insurrection (Feb 4, 1899 - Jul 4, 1902).
