The system of government we call DEMOCRACY means more than the fact that the PEOPLE have a RIGHT to have a voice in government. It is based on the belief that the people have the DESIRE to make their voice known in government and will, if given the opportunity, choose to do so. This page will link you to the men and women who represent our Nation in government, and provide you the opportunity to visit their web sites and also to send them your thoughts and input.


*CAUTION* This page provides you with oportunities that are unique rights and privilages in the United States, the potential to make your voice heard in all levels of government instantly. Our President, Vice President, most State Governors and U.S. Senators, as well as almost half of the members of the House of Representatives have published e-mail addresses where you can contact them. With the click of your mouse you can instantly bring up a mail form to send your thoughts to those who represent you in government. This is an INCREDIBLE freedom, but brings with it some important responsibilities. Keep the following in mind: No matter how mad you may be or how much you disagree with those in leadership, remember that by virtue of their elected position they deserve our respect. Treat your freedom of expression properly and show your own opinions the respect they deserve, by respecting the opinions of those who disagree with you. Remember that not ALL speach is protected "FREE SPEECH". Just as you can not tell "hi-jack" jokes in an airport, other forms of speech are also restricted because they are just plain WRONG. You can not make threats or attempt to intimidate those in leadership. (And remember, your own e-mail address will appear on your e-mail message to the officials listed here. Do something wrong, you'll pay the penalty.) Most government officials respond to e-mail by "snail mail". If you want a reply from any government official you send an e-mail message to, be sure to include your mailing address in the message.
