The HomeOfHeroes ENHANCED RESEARCH
LIBRARY is a special area of our website for those who
want MORE!!!! While they comprise only a small fraction
of the TOTAL pages in our website, this area contains
some of the RICHEST information and is the result of
some of our heaviest research.
The ENHANCED LIBRARY is a MEMBERS
ONLY area, available by SUBSCRIPTION ($100 per year).
Income derived from those who join this area of our site
provides the funds necessary to keep the remainder of
this site FREE, as well as investment funds to obtain
additional citations for posting. Some of the features
of this area include:

Citations - Currently
more than 25,000 citations including nearly all Air
Force Cross Citations, 85% of all Navy Cross
citations, 70% of all Distinguished Service Cross citations,
and more than 5,000 citations or synopsis for Silver
Star Awards. We are also in the process of adding
THOUSANDS of citations for awards of the
Distinguished Service Medals in efforts to
eventually post the citations for the nearly 150,000
awards of the top four levels of the Pyramid of
Honor. (The free area of our site will continue to
carry the names of award recipients, but citations
will ONLY be available in this MEMBER ONLY LIBRARY.

Detailed Indexes -
Recipients of major valor awards are listed by war,
by branch of service, even by military specialty
(e.g. Rangers, Navy Corpsmen, Marine Raiders, etc.)
in indexes by Alphabetical and by Chronological
order.

Databases - As we
build, we will be making available many of these
indexes in downloadable EXCEL worksheets that will
allow researchers to sort, filter, and parse out
specific data.

FREE Books - Presently
you can download citations for the above awards
broken out by war and branch of service in
printable, full-color books. More than TWO DOZEN
such citation books are currently available with

NEWSLETTER - Members
receive via email, a monthly newsletter to keep them
up-to-date on events and activities, and immediate
email notification will be sent out on important
events during the month (death of MOH recipients,
new award presentations, etc.)

will be constantly looking for ideas for special
features our visitors are sure to find of interest.
Among the first of these is a "Most
Decorated" series of profiles, individual pages
containing the citations for ALL valor awards to
some of the most decorated heroes in history. Click

The MEMBER ONLY area was created out of
FINANCIAL NECESSITY. While tens of thousands of
visitors enjoy the FREE pages at HomeOfHeroes.com
every month, very few have taken steps to help support
this effort. We want to keep the MAJORITY of our
important information FREELY AVAILABLE, but in efforts
to fund our work, we have found it necessary to take
some new steps. This is the one that we hope will
work.
Even if you cannot afford are are not interested
in subscribing to our member area, please consider a

time to insure that the majority of our material can
remain FREELY available.

ONCE a MONTH we will try to offer a FREE
24-hour PASS to the CITATION area of the
Research Library, for those who are interested
only in finding a single citation. Notice of
all FREE PASS days will be announced in the
box at the upper left of all pages in our
website to give you advanced notice. |
